To the rear of the property is a cleverly designed kitchen area, with everything you need to whip up a tasty dinner for two to share at the pull-out table or out on the terrace. After dinner, relax on one of the chairs by the wood burner-effect electric fire, or climb into the double bed to watch TV before drifting off to sleep. A separate shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, listen to the babbling brook and watch the local wildlife from the covered terrace. There is a BBQ for al fresco dining and a fire pit for toasting marshmallows under the stars.

You’ll find a great range of shops to peruse, and the town is also renowned for its fantastic food markets and independent restaurants showcasing local produce. After a bite to eat, enjoy a relaxing stroll along the picturesque towpath of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, which meanders through the town. Abergavenny is considered the gateway to the Black Mountains, meaning you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to nearby walking routes with exceptional views.
