The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The local villages are small yet charming and they have a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. There are many beautiful towns on the island of Brac which are well worth visiting while you are here. Milna, with its yacht-filled marina, has a quayside lined with cafes and restaurants, and Splitska, also situated around a delightful harbour, is one of the most attractive communities on the island. Pucisca is defined by the fine stone buildings set into terraces on the steep hillside, and Bol, on the south side of the island, is known for its 15th and 17th century architecture as well as for its famous beach, Zlatni Rat, a shingle spit which stretches out over 600m into the sea. At the villa there is a boat with a licensed skipper available to rent on a daily basis and there are lots of options for day trips. Alternatively, borrow the bikes, kayaks or snorkelling gear or go rafting or paintballing.
