It is halfway between the market town of Newcastle Emlyn, with its variety of antique and independent shops, pubs and cafes, and the lovely Llandysul, steeped in history and Welsh culture. Visit the National Wool Museum and Newcastle Emlyn s castle. Explore the Teifi River, the Ffynone and Cenarth Waterfalls, the history of coracle fishing and wildlife watching or sea fishing boat trips from New Quay harbour. The coastline is surprisingly close, with the seaside resort of Aberporth, a great starting point to visit pretty towns and villages along the Cardigan Bay such as New Quay and picture perfect Aberaeron.
