Visit the ancient ruins of Pendragon Castle, steeped in the legend surrounding King Arthur, less than half a mile from the cottage. The old market town of Kirkby Stephen is just 4 miles away, set at the foot of the Howgill Fells in the upper Eden Valley, between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Here you can browse a wealth of quirky shops, bars, and eateries, or enjoy a picnic where Frank s Bridge crosses the River Eden. Dust off your muddy boots and coats as you step into the entrance hall of this charming cottage. Bursting with character and with beams throughout, you will feel instantly at home in the comfortable lounge.
