Here you are only 3.5 miles from the world famous Ironbridge with its walks, museums, independent shops, pubs and restaurants. The River Severn offers great fishing, walkers and cyclists can enjoy various paths and routes along the Ironbridge Gorge and in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Shropshire Hills, the area also offers golf and for the adventurous coracling and hang gliding. This is a truly year round destination with local eateries, events, museums, galleries and National Trust properties Attingham Park (17 miles), Benthall Hall (7 miles) and Dudmaston (19 miles) to keep you entertained. The historic towns of Shrewsbury (11 miles) and Ludlow (27 miles) are also within easy reach with their castles, festivals, shops and restaurants.
