Re-built in 2008 from the remains of an original stone barn, this contemporary new home now has an abundance of glass, solid oak floors, granite worktops, bespoke LED lighting and a large stone flagged terrace for alfresco dining. Free WiFi internet is provided. The barn provides fabulous upside-down accommodation with window seats in the living area capturing dramatic views and original barn openings providing windows in the bedrooms downstairs. Carefully planned to offer luxurious eco-friendly accommodation, this superb holiday home provides underfloor heating from a ground source heat pump and has a heat-recovering ventilation system to keep the air fresh without losing heat. Solar photo-voltaic electricity generation system to further reduce its carbon footprint.
Cragg Vale is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and enjoys panoramic views from the steep and wooded valley. From Old Cragg Hall Barn the bustling town of Hebden Bridge, "the 4th funkiest town in Europe", is approximately 3 miles and the Bronte village of Haworth and the National Trust Hardcastle Crags can be easily accessed too. For the outdoor enthusiast the Pennine Way and the Calderdale Way cross the valley, providing gentle strolling or energetic hiking.

Interior Details
The ground floor comprises a large entrance hallway with stone flags, coat storage and boot drying facilities. The master bedroom has a kingsize 4-poster bed, flat screen TV with FreeSat, DVD player and iPod dock. The en-suite has a corner shower, WC, basin, heated towel rail and shaver point. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have either twin beds or super-king doubles and all bedrooms have oak floors and oak furniture, hairdryers and radio alarm clocks. The house bathroom has a bath/shower, WC, basin, heated towel rail and shaver point. The first floor comprises a huge open-plan space with lounge, kitchen and dining area, with bespoke LED lighting and a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is well-equipped with an extensive range of cupboards and granite worksurfaces. Facilities include a full-HD flat-screen TV with FreeSat-HD, Blu-ray DVD player, iPod/iPhone docking station, radio/CD player and free WiFi. There is a separate TV/reading room in the converted Stable, across the cobbled yard from the Barn. Solely for guests use it has comfy chairs & bean bags, a 55" smart TV and more great views over the valley from full-height windows.
