Garden Cottage is oozing character and history, and has been ornately furnished and decorated, and is a truly luxurious Cotswolds holiday rental property. So much so that it graced the pages of The English Home magazine in 2023.
Garden Cottage is in the hamlet of Little Faringdon, 5 minutes from the riverside town of Lechlade. Aside from having delicious coffee, freshly baked sourdough and an award winning butcher, Lechlade also has many footpaths offering wonderful riverside and rural walks. The Cotswolds is the UK’s largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so you’ll be in an excellent location for exploring. Burford and Cirencester are both within a 20 minute drive.

Garden Cottage is easily accessible from London by train and taxi. But a car is recommended to enjoy the local area. Trains to either Charlbury or Swindon.

Interior Details
This luxury holiday house has four bedrooms and can sleep up to eight people in two kings and two doubles. There’s an extra guest folding bed if required. The beds and linen are all of the highest quality. The whole house is light, airy and beautifully decorated and furnished. There are several shared spaces - the drawing room is filled with antiques and vintage finds. The conservatory is a large light space overlooking the garden, and the cosy TV room has a huge L shaped sofa. The large open plan kitchen / dining room also has views over the garden and doors opening onto the terrace. The kitchen is supremely well designed and equipped. There’s satellite TV, a sonos sound system, and a great collection of books.
Exterior Details
The house is behind some electric gates with views over a private estate. There’s a large garden with garden table and chairs and sunloungers, which is secured by a fence surrounding the property. EV charger.
Conditions of Rental
Infants and children welcome providing they are well behaved. Dogs welcome for a small additional fee. Check in from 3pm and check out by 11am. For larger groups, there’s an a 5 bedroom property next door which is also available for lettings, which is easily accessible via the garden gate. Please enquire for further info.
