Enjoy the Haverthwaite and Lakeside steam railway, and Lakeland Motor museum both within walking distance. Take a steam boat ride on Lake Windermere, visit The Aquarium of the Lakes and the stunning Fell Foot Park on the banks of Lake Windermere - try your hand at Paddle boarding, Rowing and Kayaking. all just over a mile away.
