This spacious family friendly house, just a moment’s walk to the sea, and a short walk to the nearest pub / restaurant is an ideal base for a group of family or friends to explore the delights of Oban and the beautiful west coast of Scotland.
The house is just a couple of hundred yards from the sea, so you can stroll down to the waterfront whenever you like, to take in the beautiful views, the sunsets over Loch Etive, and the majestic Connel Bridge with its magnificent ‘Falls of Lora’ rapids.
There’s masses to do in Connel and the surrounding area, from activities and trips, to wildlife watching, golf, shops and restaurants. Connel has two excellent hotel / restaurants which are great for drinking / dining, one of which is just a two minute walk from the house. A short drive will take you to the bustling harbour town of Oban, known as the Seafood Capital of Scotland, where you can browse the many shops and galleries, and enjoy watching the fishing boats in the harbour. From Oban you can get ferries to some of the nearby islands, as well as wildlife and birdwatching boat trips.

Interior Details
The house can sleep up to eight people in five bedrooms. The first floor has a double and a single room, both with ensuite bathroom, and then there are two further double bedrooms and another single on the ground floor, along with a family bathroom with walk in shower. The kitchen is very well equipped and includes a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, breakfast bar, and there’s a washing machine and a freezer in the porch. The living area is very cosy, with a wood burning stove, comfy seating, and large windows. There’s a TV and wifi throughout.
Exterior Details
There is a large private garden, and a patio area with table and chairs at both the front and the back of the house. BBQ equipment for al fresco dining.
Conditions of Rental
25% deposit required to confirm your booking. Check in from 4pm, check out by 9.30am. Up to two dogs welcome (the garden is fully enclosed). We can recommend a private chef to cater for special occasions.
