On the rugged west coast of Scotland, enjoying panoramic views of Loch Etive and Ben Cruachan, Tigh Grianach is a traditional croft cottage which has been thoughtfully modernised to provide a spacious and comfortable home-from-home holiday property.
If you’re looking for a cosy and picturesque base from which to explore the many delights of Argyll then look no further. Tigh Grianach has everything you could need for a relaxing escape, but most importantly it boasts a spectacular setting and an outlook that will literally take your breath away. To the west, wide open fields in which you can spot early morning deer and on the other side views of the loch and the mountains beyond. If you love nature, wildlife and the simple beauty of the great outdoors then you’ll be in heaven.
The cottage is based in Connel, where you will find two excellent hotels/restaurants, and the bustling harbour town of Oban is just 5 miles away. And Argyll is a wonderful destination for the whole family, whatever the weather and however active (or inactive!) you want to be. If you’re looking for history and culture you’ll definitely find it here, not to mention some lovely gardens and a whole host of flora and fauna. If you want to get out and about you can walk, fish, kayak, shoot, horse ride, play golf and sail, or you could just let a boat take you out to one of the many nearby Hebridean islands.

From the south on the M6/M74 take the new Glasgow south route and follow airport signs heading for Erskine bridge. Get onto the A82 heading for Crainlarich then at Tyndrum take the A85 for Oban.

Interior Details
The cottage has a light, sunny lounge which looks out over the loch, as well as a large well-equipped kitchen with a dining area. There are three bedrooms, one king and two twin (one of which is ensuite), and you will also find a TV with Freeview and a DVD player for rainy afternoons.
Exterior Details
There is a large private garden with a patio area, a BBQ and garden furniture. There is direct access to the edge of the loch for walks and picnics.
