Benearb is a one bedroom log cabin set amidst the Glen of the Fairies, one of Perthshire's most idyllica glens. It has a hot tub and sauan, and is surrounded by spectacular Scottish scenery. One of a collection of cabins with undisturbed panoramic views over the mountainous surroundings. A wonderful, peaceful retreat for a couple.
These self catering log cabins all have hot tubs and are peacefully located well off the road while still being within easy reach of a variety of attractions and sporting pursuits. Spend your days walking and skiing, bring your binoculars and watch deer on the hills, or relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of historic Glenshee. Each holiday cabin caters for the comforts of home, with everything from fully-equipped kitchens to Freesat TV,DVD players, BBQ’s and Wi-Fi. Whether you are a couple on a romantic retreat, a family looking for an outdoorsy holiday or just someone who wants a proper break, a holiday in a log cabin like these provides a restful sanctuary with a picturesque backdrop.
Glenshee is an ideal base for touring Royal Deeside, with Balmoral Castle, Dunkeld (the ancient capital of Scotland) or castles including Blair, Glamis and Scone Palace all within an hour's drive. Visit the towns of Pitlochry and Braemar with their woollen shops and souvenirs, follow the whisky trail beginning with Edradour, the smallest distillery in Scotland, or visit the Braemar Highland Games on the first Sunday of September. You can explore on foot or bike, or you could fish for salmon and trout in local lochs. The golf enthusiast is spoilt for choice, from the delightful 9 hole course next door on Dalmunzie Estate, to Braemar, Ballater, Aboyne, Pitlochry, Kirriemuir, Blairgowrie and Alyth, all within 45 minutes drive. The Championship courses at Carnoustie, St Andrews and Gleneagles are one hour away. We are only 6 miles from the slopes of Glenshee Ski Centre and there are several local pubs and hotels a drive away where you can get something to eat and drink.
Getting There:
All of Scotland's major cities and towns are located no more than 2 hours drive away, with Perth and Dundee 1 hour to the south, Edinburgh and Glasgow 2 hours to the south and Inverness and Aberdeen 2 hours to the north. The lodges are located just off the A93, 15 miles south of Braemar and 18 miles north of Blairgowrie. The closest major airport is Edinburgh (1 hour 30 minutes) and the nearest railway stations are Pitlochry (45 minutes) and Perth (1 hour). Buses run to Blairgowrie (30 minutes) and Braemar (20 minutes).

Benearb is a romantic holiday cabin for two, with one large double bedroom with sauna and shower, a separate WC, and an open-plan living room/kitchen. Wifi throughout.
Exterior Details
The cabin has a timber deck with coal BBQ, table and chairs, and private hot tub with magnificent views.
Conditions of Rental
Smoking is not permitted. Benearb accepts dogs for a small additional fee. A deposit of one third of the full rent is due on booking, with the balance payable one month before the start of the holiday. The period of let when you stay in a cabin shall be from 4pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure. Electricity consumed will be charged at the current rate (per unit consumed) and a final meter reading is taken at the end of the stay. All linen is supplied. Short Break stays available all year round. Weekly lets start on a Friday or Monday.
