General Info

Steeped in history, The Invernairne has had a dramatic restoration and is now a luxurious property on the banks of the Moray Firth  in the West End of Nairn, in the heart of the Northern Scottish Highlands, and with direct beach access from the garden. There is an impressive array of activities on offer, from dolphin cruises, Loch Ness tours, Outlander excursions, and many more on your doorstep.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The Invernairne is a short walk from the harbour and town centre, giving you access to masses of attractions and activities.  Nairns is known for its microclimate and has been a spa holiday town for over 100 years.  It’s the perfect base for touring the Highlands.  It has two championship golf courses, and another 20 courses within a short drive.  Fishing is hugely popular - Atlantic Salmon river fishing, Trout and Pike fishing in the lochs, or sea fishing - there are some great local companies who can help you plan your fishing tour.  Join a tour of one of the many local whisky distilleries, visit castles such as Cawdor and Brodie, or book a boat trip to get up close to the Moray Firth’s resident population of dolphins and seals.  There are lots of sandy beaches, footpaths, horse riding and bird watching opportunities.  In the town itself, there’s squash, tennis, gym, sauna and indoor swimming pool just a 5 minute walk away.
