This modern, architect designed cottage on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland has fabulous views out towards The Minch, the Atlantic sea channel between the Outer Hebrides and the mainland. The house has been built with sustainability in mind, and is a great choice of property for friends or families wanting to explore pristine beaches and mountain trails, and to enjoy breathtaking scenery.
Brevig is the name of a small village on the north of the coast of the Isle of Lewis, and the house looks south towards the village and the Minch beyond. On a clear day you’ll have a mountain backdrop too. Truly one of Britain’s last remaining wildernesses, this is a place for lovers of the nature and the great outdoors.
The island of Lewis has some fantastic footpaths and walking trails - you can explore spectacular natural features along the beaches, coastline or inland, and the island is also perfect for cyclists, watersports and fishing. The beaches are often empty of people, and there are lots of archaeological treasures to explore too. The island is a haven for birdlife and marine wildlife, and you can enjoy exploring Stornoway, wandering around the harbour or shopping for Harris tweed.
