Architect designed, Mayar Bhan is located on the West Coast of Scotland between Ullapool and Gairloch. The house has stunning views over Gruinard Bay and the Summer Isles, and is close to the beautiful Mellon Udrigle beach. It can sleep up to six people and is excellently placed for exploring the Scottish Highlands and islands.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The house is very close to the fantastic Mellon Udrigle beach and there are lots of other lovely beaches nearby, not to mention sights like Flowerdale Waterfall, Inverewe Garden, the Fairy Lochs near Badachro and the Beinn Eagh nature reserve. This is fantastic terrain for walking and mountain biking, there are lots of boat trips and whale cruises available, and wildlife lovers will see everything from eagles and deer to dolphins and seals. And after a day of invigorating Scottish air you can relax in one of the local cafes and restaurants.

Interior Details
Accommodating 6 people, the house  is finished to a very high standard and is the perfect home-from-home with double glazing and underfloor heating throughout, supplemented by a wood burning stove. A travel cot and high chair are also provided. The accommodation includes 2 en-suite double bedrooms and 1 en-suite twin bedroom, kitchen, large living area with stunning views over Gruinard Bay, a conservatory (with dining area), WC and utility room. All the en-suites have a shower and the downstairs bedroom also has a bath. The downstairs WC and bedroom is wheelchair accessible. The utility room provides storage for coats, shoes etc. Heating is provided by underfloor heating upstairs and downstairs. In addition, there is also a wood burning stove. This, combined with a high level of insulation, makes Mayar Bhan an extremely comfortable place to stay. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make it feel home from home.  High speed broadband throughout.

Exterior Details
 The property sits in approximately 1 acre of private fully enclosed garden laid mainly in grass with decking on both sides of the house. Outdoor wooden furniture and BBQ are provided. Ample off road parking is available within the property boundary. A large lockable shed is provided for storage of bikes and outdoor equipment.

Conditions of Rental
Rates include all utilities, bed linen, towels and logs. Payment is by cheque or internet bank transfer. Changeover day is Saturday - departures before 10am and arrivals after 4pm. Short breaks may be available between October and Easter.
