Treehouse holidays are always places of magic and fascination and it’s no exaggeration to say that you will never have seen ones like Black Wolf Treehouse. Secluded, luxurious and completely unique, this woodland hideaway, one of three set in the heart of a secluded 13 acre woodland in a hidden valley in Devon, is simply enchanting.
If you’re looking for unique styas with cosy rustic interiors, sumptuous furnishings and wonderful sunrise views, all within a spectacular location, then you will find Black Wolf Treehouse (and the other two treehouses on site) totally heavenly. The dwellings themselves are stunningly well-appointed, with light-filled rooms, reclaimed timber fittings, wood burners, outdoor baths, well-equipped kitchens and king size beds. The setting, within 13 acres of deciduous woodland in a hidden Devon valley, is nothing short of blissful. And nearby there are walks, beaches, country pubs and National Trust houses to explore. Whether you’re here for romance, relaxation or fun, you’re sure to have an unforgettable stay.
The beautiful coastline of north east Cornwall, home to the surfing beaches of Bude and the unspoilt coves at Sandymouth and Duckpool, are not far away, and the surrounding countryside is full of tors to climb, rivers to swim in, woodland trails to hike, cycle or horse ride along and welcoming village pubs. There are several National Trust properties nearby, not least Lydford Gorge with its breathtaking Whitelady Waterfall, or you could enjoy a cream tea at Hotel Endsleigh, a gastro-pub lunch at the Dartmoor Inn, an evening meal at Lewtrenchard Manor or a pint at the Clovelly Inn. There are a number of picnic and barbecue areas dotted around the woodland and there's a small river that meanders along the bottom of the valley - a great place to dip your toes, skim stones and watch the birds – keep an eye out for the kingfisher.
