The villa is situated in a quiet in the mountains overlooking the outskirts of Vence in the French Riviera. Vence is a charming and historic city where you can soak up the authentic French atmosphere, stroll through the markets and admire the work of Matisse. The house itself is contemporary, and high spec in its design and its technology, and is an incredible setting for a group of friends or family who are looking for a relaxing holiday in the south of France.
If you can drag yourself away from the villa itself, then you’ll find masses to see and do in the surrounding area. Vence itself is a delight with its lively old town and a fabulous variety of shops and local markets. There’s a wealth of excellent restaurants to choose from, as well as museums, galleries and churches to visit. It is well known as a town of festivals and cultural events, especially in spring and summer with its well known music festival and the Nuits du Sud festival. You don’t have to go much further afield to find a host of other places to visit and activities on offer. Golf, horse riding, watersports, karting, cycling, shopping in the nearby fashion houses - all these and more are available locally.

Interior Details
The villa has five bedrooms, all of which are ensuite, and can sleep up to ten people. There are two king sized rooms, and a further three which can be configured either as twins or doubles. Additionally, the pool house studio has a double sofa bed and ensuite bathroom. The ground floor is home to a huge open plan space comprising a fully fitted bespoke kitchen, a dining area to seat 12 and a large living space. The kitchen has two ovens, two fridges, freezer, dishwasher and all the crockery and appliances you’re likely to need. The lower ground floor is fully dedicated to entertainment with a home cinema, pool table, baby-foot and an integrated sound system. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is wifi, data points, Sonos, TV and air conditioning throughout the villa. High chair & travel cot available if required. The contemporary design of the villa means that there is a centralised control of the lighting, air conditioning and security shutters.
Exterior Details
This is a house where the interior and exterior blend seamlessly with one another, and outdoor living is king! The large covered dining area allows for some shade whilst eating al fresco. At night, the area is lit, and can be heated. There’s a heated saltwater pool (1.7m throughout) with a submerged bench, lights and a security cover for when it’s not in use. There are sunbeds on the pool and balcony, a good sized garden with an outdoor table tennis table, a Petanque court and a six person hot tub with views out towards the sea. At one end of the pool is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with Gas BBQ rotisserie, fridge and sink. There is off road parking (within the security gates) for up to four cars, but ample parking on the road outside too.
Conditions of Rental
Deposit payable on booking. Sorry, no pets. The pool, hot tub and garden are maintained weekly.
