La Molina del Olivar was exactly what we needed. A beautiful and peaceful location in the hills where we were able to just sit back and relax, the pool was idyllic and a wonderful traditional unspoilt villa. We whiled away countless evenings with a glass of wine and food on the BBQ in anticipation of another carefree day in the hills...

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home in Spain. We had the most relaxing two weeks imaginable--& great weather, 34o everyday. We could have stayed all summer and completely fell in love with this part of Spain!

If you want a quiet, peaceful holiday, you couldn't find a better place. At the same time, you have quick access to the main roads, from where in a day you can get to beautiful beaches, Granada or the mountains. We found a brilliant bar very close to the house that served delicious home-made tapas – in fact, we'd travelled miles looking for this kind of food before finding it on our doorstep (we also witnessed a curious threshing party there). The house is absolutely beautiful (it feels Spanish) and very well equipped. The owners even provide pool towels, which is great if you are travelling by Ryan Air… On the first day we stuffed ourselves on fresh figs warmed by the Andalucian sun. By the end of the holiday we'd hear them fall to the ground as we lay by the pool, we'd become so accustomed to the sheer abundance of the place. It's a place designed for slow living - eating outside, lying by the pool and taking in its incredible views.

We had a wonderful time staying in your villa. Outstanding location. Hats off to you both in the conversion! 'La Molina del Olivar' has lost none of its charm nor character, and yet still provides a wonderful home from home! Thanks for the excellent directions.......We'll be back!

As the owners of One Off Places, choosing our holiday accommodation is a tricky job as we are faced with so many fabulous places. However, we certainly made the right choice with La Molina del Olivar. We had the most blissful week in this beautiful conversion outside Riogordo. The house is oozing character, the pool with its views towards the mountains is pure paradise, and the surrounding grounds just wonderful for foraging figs, almonds, lemons and pomegranates. A truly idyllic week.
