I visited here in June 2018 and have only just got round to writing the review! However this place deserves top marks!

We stayed in the Granary Barn for 4 nights with our three mini dachshunds. Carl has thought of everything from oil for cooking to dog poo bags!!!

There is even a lovely field opposite for a dog walk with a boat bench!

Totally recommend this place to anyone!

Well, what can I say and where do I start? We booked upon an enthusiastic recommendation from our friend Claire for a mini-honeymoon break (a mini-moon if you will) Carl was immediately friendly and helpful and we knew we were on to something. Upon arrival we found out Claire had ordered us some bubbly! The place is fantastic and provided us with two days of newly wedded bliss. The weather wasn’t great but if Carl could have sorted that out on top of his hospitality he would have done! We will be telling everyone we know about the Granary and Woodfarm. Fantastic! My 4th time at Woodfarm, 1st time at The Granary. Total heaven! All the small touches are perfect and Carl is magic. Didn’t need to go anywhere but took a trip to Aldeburgh. We went to the Upper Deck restaurant, which was fabulous. Try the scampi! Love it so much here, will be back next year!

Perfect getaway, far enough away to feel alone – close enough not to feel abandoned. Would love to come back and stay longer. Welcome basket was brilliant and Carl was very helpful.

AMAZING cottage for a short break with our one year old son. Carl’s friendly welcome made us feel at home straight away. The breakfast hamper was a particularly lovely gesture. We visited Southwold on a beautiful sunny day – perfect for lazing on the beach and eating fish & chips at the pier. Lavenham was gorgeous, the buildings are incredible – definitely worth visiting. The Dennington Queen served yummy food and had a peaceful outside area. This is our first visit to Suffolk and there is so much to see and discover, we will definitely be returning. The Granary has played a huge part in making our break so relaxing (as relaxing as it can be with a small child!).
