Just got back from The Hideaway after a cracking weekend. Barney is a wonderful host and should be very proud of his campsite. Lovely and peaceful with outstanding facilities. Local pub worth a visit serving excellent food. Already booked to go back.

We’ve just arrived back from the best weekend we’ve had in a long time! We stayed in an eco-pod and it was gorgeous, we loved it! The site is absolutely amazing, so peaceful. The staff are so friendly and they have thought of everything to keep you comfortable. The showers, loos, pot wash etc, are spotlessly clean and warm. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a fab weekend.

What a lovely campsite. We had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed our time away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. It had everything we wanted. Quiet, peaceful, good facilities, friendly atmosphere and the lovely Barney and Holly. We will be back!!!!

Last weekend we stayed at the Hideaway and had the most fantastic time. Barney is a real work-horse, does he ever sleep!! We were treated to an impromptu sing around the campfire by local musicians on Saturday night. The butcher supplied us with excellent BBQ fodder on Saturday morning – and even gave us a bone for the dog!!! Being disabled, my every need was catered for. Thanks Barney. We will definitely be back.

We had a fabulous time in the Bell Tents – they were great. We hired them all with a group of friends, everything was provided. We loved the fire pits, fabulous setting and the facilites were excellent. Great walks and pubs nearby. Many thanks to Barney and his wife for looking after us – nothing was a problem.
