Lovely villa with everything we needed, lots of thought given to the decor. Umbria is an outstanding area of beauty and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting all the lovely towns. Giuseppe was most hopeful and nothing was too much trouble.

The apartment is a delight. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge/diner and a kitchen. Log fire if needed, although we didn't need to light the fire as the central heating system kept the apartment warm enough. Plenty of car parking space.
The villa-apartment is located near to the city centre.
The most delightful thing though of our stay was our host, Giuseppe. What a wonderful host he is. Not only does he speak English but he goes out of his way to show you how to access the city where the nearest supermarket is and ever so many other things as well. There was also a welcome (and very welcome it was too) basket of food waiting for us on our arrival including a very nice bottle of red wine.
A lovely, lovely man is Giuseppe and Villa Nuba is in a lovely, location. Perugia is a great and extremely interesting city to explore
Alas we were there for only 7 days. Far too short a time. Make it longer if you can. So much to do and so little time to see and do it all.

Loved it.

We were two couples travelling together and we stayed in the del Perugio apartment for a week. Both bedrooms were of a good size, comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The livingroom/dining area provided plenty of space for two couples to spread out their belongings. Although a TV was provided with several English stations – we did not turn it on during our week long stay.
The kitchen was well equipped and we made several meals, eating breakfast each morning on the outside patio while listening to the birds and welcoming visits by Pato, the resident cat. After a day of touring, we welcomed the solitude at the villa – evenings were very quiet and restful enabling us to regroup before the next day’s adventures. Giuseppe was very welcoming and hospitable. They genuinely cared, going the extra mile ensure their guests’ stay was comfortable. Villa Nuba is well situated for exploring all Umbria. The old quarter of Perugia can be reached after a 20 minute walk, uphill both ways!

If you are planning on visiting Perugia and Umbria in general, this is the perfect location to stay. If you are just a couple or a whole family this Villa would be perfect to fit your needs. There are 3 fully equipped apartments ( 2- 2 bedroom and 1 -1 bedroom) with nicely appointed features. The grounds and pool are perfect for the relaxing moments. The owners we cannot say enough good things about. They are lovely and tremendously helpful in navigating your way around. The location can get you to many other places in this part of Italy in a fairly short amount of time and that is of great connivence. We were able to leave in the morning and visit a number of different cities and or villages and still have time to get back and enjoy the Villa and relax.

Staying at Villa Nuba is like staying with family you didn't know you had. The location is quite unique. You are at once in the countryside and in Perugia! It really is the best of both worlds. I was a delighted with Umbria and would encourage travelers to make sure to see its beautiful towns.

The details in the rooms including hardwood floors, beautiful furniture, artwork and fabulous bed linens contributed so much to the enjoyment of our stay. Also helpful was a list of recommended shops and restaurants in the area that Giuseppe provides, along with a very useful discount card. We relied heavily on his suggestions and were never disappointed. It removed much of the "hit and miss" time from the holiday!

My young children, who had a brilliant time, want me to tell you that "there's free wifi, the ice cream in Perugia is divine and that Giuseppe does a really good job keeping the pool clean." What more is there?
