We were a party of 6 adults and 2 toddlers (both aged 3). Las Cabanes was a wonderful place for us to call home for 2 weeks.
Especially so, as we didn't get the best weather. The lengths Julie and Steve went to to cater for our young children was far in excess of anything we could have expected. The play park behind the house, the astro-turfed area with toddler cars, the guinea-pig hutch, the bikes on offer, the bits and bobs to play with in the pool; not to mention the mezzanine area inside that is so well stocked with toys. We had 4 rainy days and the kids were kept well entertained. It is also safe - there are plenty of baby gates, cots, fans, black-out-blinds, and other provisions above and beyond what you would expect a host to provide.

We had a perfect 2 weeks in June with 4 generations of our family with us for much of the time. Both the property and location were excellent and we had one of the best ever holidays. We particularly liked the fact that we could all be together when we wanted to be, but that there was also enough space for us each to find somewhere quiet if we wanted to. Overall it was a great success and we’d thoroughly recommend it.

Surely as good as it gets for young children- massive care taken on safety, every possible toy, book, piece of equipment there including bikes of all sizes. A lovely pool and above all thoroughly welcoming hosts.

We could not have found a better house for the children (all under 5) - In addition to the fantastic pool, there are lots of outside play areas, a playroom and animals on site.

We have just had the most amazingly relaxing week in June at Las Cabanes. We were a small group and had the whole place to ourselves. Everything with regards to children has been thought of and there was so much to keep our children entertained from feeding the guinea pigs and chickens to playing inthe huge garden, looking in the pond for tadpoles and splashing in the fabulous pool. The owners Steve and Julie are perfect in that they are very quiet and discreet and only make contact if you wish them to, so the house feels very private. We hope to return.
