With direct access to the South West Coast Path, St Ives’s culture-infused cobbled streets, lovely harbour and vibrant restaurant scene lie just 15 minutes’ walk away, while Carbis Bay beach is mere metres from the front door, so if you like to hit the water for an early morning swim, you can be breakfast table to sand within minutes.

Home to the iconic Tate St Ives Gallery and the famous Barbara Hepworth Museum, St Ives is also flanked by three beautiful beaches, so if lazing on the sand and paddling the waves is your idea of the ultimate coastal holiday, you’re in for a treat. The town is also a bit of a 'foodie' destination and is packed with numerous terrific restaurants including the award-winning Porthminster Beach Café.
