A pedestrian friendly lane opposite the cottage leads down to the sea via the children’s playground, and direct access to the footpath network on the cliffs.

Step up to the front door and into this quaint cottage. Inside is an abundance of character features that you would expect from a thatched cottage, including exposed brickwork, ceiling beams and wooden floorboards. The sitting/dining room is split into two levels and is the perfect place to come together after a day of exploring. A beamed fireplace houses the wood burner and is an ideal spot to read or to play games. A step up from the sitting room leads to the fully equipped, compact kitchen which is complete with a range cooker for rustling up delicious meals. From the kitchen a step up leads to the tranquil sunroom which is an ideal place to sit with your morning coffee, with access via a stable door into the garden. A step up in the hallway leads to the shower room which is handy for freshening up after a day by the coast. Upstairs there are three bedrooms: two doubles with exposed beams and excellent views of the local area, and a bunk room. You can soak in the roll-top bath in the upstairs bathroom and relax after a day’s adventures. You can relax on the beach at West Bay or visit one of the resort’s charming cafes, while Bridport is home to a twice weekly market.
