One-Off Feature

Forget your childhood memories of rickety, windswept shacks - treehouse holidays as you have never experienced before! With under floor heating, separate rooms, Sky TV and a private hot tub, the Treehouse Hideaway offers peace, tranquillity, luxury and a totally unique experience.

General Info

If you`ve ever dreamt of sleeping up in the trees then you`ve come to the right place. Here you can stay in a treehouse in style! Six metres off the ground amongst willows, conifers and fruit trees, the house is crafted almost entirely from driftwood gathered on a local beach and is made up of two hexagonal pods joined together, which sit upon two tree trunk pedestals. Boasting an unbelievable array of mod cons and little luxuries, it is hard to believe, once you`re inside, that you`re in a treehouse! This is the ultimate romantic glamping in England experience just for two.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The Treehouse is located between Whitstable and Canterbury, next door to the very popular Druidstone Wildlife Park. Although it feels tucked away, there is a family-friendly pub, the Royal Oak, just 50 yards along the road and all the many attractions of Kent are on your doorstep. It may be tempting to sink into your private hot tub and stay there, but Kent, otherwise known as `the garden of England`, is a beautiful county with a huge amount to offer. Discover Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral or the stunning gardens at Sissinghurst, or visit some of the glorious beaches at Deal, Broadstairs and Folkestone. You could go walking along the North Downs Way or the Greensand Way, perhaps the best way to enjoy the landscape, or you could tour Biddenden vineyards and explore some of the many art galleries and boutiques. The owners are great advocates of unique holidays (specifically treehouse holidays) and know the area inside out, so contact them for suggestions about what to do and where to eat.

We arrived in Blean on a cold November's evening to a warm and cosy Treehouse Hideaway. This was a surprise birthday treat from my husband and what an amazing treat it was! The Treehouse is luxurious, romantic and unique in every way. Obviously built with love and care, the owners have created a home with excellent facilities, quirkiness and imagination. The secluded hot tub was perfect for a late night dip! The owners are dedicated to ensuring that we had the best experience possible by adding personal touches to our stay. On arrival there were all the basic necessities that we needed including milk, fresh coffee, croissants and fresh orange juice. Whilst staying at the Treehouse, we visited both Canterbury and Whitstable which are both in close proximity to the cottage. We had dinner at the Whitstable Oyster company which was delicious. All in all we had a fantastic weekend that we cannot fault which went far too quickly, and we will definitely recommend to our friends. We look forward to hopefully staying at the Treehouse or another property with Kent Cottage Holidays. Thanks for a fantastic weekend!

To sum our weekend up in word it was amazing! Michelle and Chris were brilliant form the second we booked. Any questions that we had they were more than happy to answer. When we arrived we were blown away at how amazing the treehouse was! It is situated in a great location, a pub 50 yards away always helps. We didnt venture out much but there is lots to do around. The hot tub was amazing and we spent a lot of time in there, it was cold getting out but we went straight up and sat by the log burner that was also brilliant. We had an amazing time at the treehouse hideaway and we really could not have asked for anything more! We will certainly be returning!

I booked an evening at the treehouse as a surprise for my girlfriend's 30th birthday and had an amazing time. The owners made the booking straightforward and friendly. Upon arrival we were excited to find a very clean and exciting getaway. I would highly recommend a stay at this location to anyone who is looking for a romantic getaway. The hot tub was an added bonus which went down a treat.
