Arcos de la Frontera is steeped in history; its Old Quarter features winding whitewashed streets lined with charming Andalusian patio houses showcasing both Moorish and Jewish architectural styles, Gothic-Mudejar designs, elegant Renaissance palaces and Baroque churches reflecting the wealth of Spain’s former American Empire. Set upon a dramatic inland ridge of sandstone, Arcos de la Frontera proudly surveys its surrounding landscape, a testament to its historic military significance. Recognised as one of the "1000 Places to See Before You Die" by American author Patricia Shultz, Arcos is an unmissable destination on your travel itinerary! This enchanting historic town captures the imagination and leaves a lasting impression. Tourist license number: VUT/CA/20377.
