One-Off Feature
This wonderful historic tower house on the Isle of Arran is a truly magical place for a large group. Sleeping eight guests across four stunning bedrooms, and with a large lounge perfect for social gatherings, it is spacious and luxurious, and provides spectacular countryside and sea views. Arran offers endless opportunities for enjoying its spectacular landscapes, from walking and climbing to kayaking and sailing. The island’s distilleries and brewery offer group tours and Brodick Castle is a must for families with younger children.

From the outside, this impressive property evokes a romantic, ruined castle. The interior, however, is far from ruinous, having been superbly renovated to create a spacious and elegant property ideal for a large group of friends or family. With beautiful parquet floors and rich, colourful furnishings throughout, the ambience is one of warmth and comfort. The bright, stylish kitchen is well-equipped for catering for large numbers with its double oven, and the smart breakfast bar is a pleasant spot for a morning coffee. Across the light and airy hall, the large dining room/lounge is perfect for socialising, with ample comfortable seating. Sit back after a day in the hills and enjoy a smooth glass of Arran whisky in front of the open fire after a day out in the fresh air. On the first and second floor, the four bedrooms are prettily decorated in soft hues of blue and green that evoke the rich tones of this beautiful island - and with four bathrooms there is plenty of space for everyone. On warm days, take advantage of the fabulous roof terrace on the second floor, which offers stupendous views across the rolling heather-clad hillsides - perfect to enjoy over a celebratory glass of bubbly. Outside, there is plenty of private parking and also a garden with seating where you can get together for drinks or an al fresco meal.
