One-Off Feature

A simple and cosy barn conversion in a stunning setting in north Wales, with views over the Dee Valley and the hills beyond.  Warm and well equipped, it’s a fabulous dog friendly escape for two, whatever the weather.

General Info

The barn is set on a hillside above the River Dee, in the Vale of Ederynion which is the eastern gateway to Snowdonia National Park.  This stretch of the River Dee is featured in Mortimer and Whitehouse’s ‘Gone Fishing’ (and even appears in some of the screen shots).

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The great outdoors is on your doorstep!  There are masses of walking trails in the surrounding hills, and excellent dog walking in the forest above the cottage.  You can go sailing at Bala Lake, or perhaps visit some of the local village pubs in the surrounding area.  A waymarked footpath passes right through the 13 acres of land at Tyn-Y-Fron.
