One-Off Feature
This fabulous rural bolthole, tucked away on the southern fringe of the New Forest National Park, is the perfect base for those who enjoy fabulous countryside walks and cycle rides, with many popular routes within easy reach. The bustling coastal town of Lymington is just 2 miles away, where you can wander around the cobbled streets and browse the popular open-air market. If you fancy a day at the seaside, head to Mudeford Sandbank Beach (14 miles). This sheltered, sandy beach has wonderful views and is also dog friendly.

The detached, single-storey annexe is located adjacent to the owner’s home, yet privacy and seclusion is assured. The property embraces open-plan living and inside you’ll find a stylish lounge/kitchenette/diner, decorated in a contemporary style. The area is incredibly bright and airy, thanks to two bi-fold doors which lead out to the enclosed decked area which envelops the property. On a summer’s day, with both doors open, the space is truly wonderful and will make you feel connected to nature. In the evening, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco, followed by a relaxing dip in the lovely hot tub.

The beautiful town of Lymington is well worth a visit. Admire the stunning Georgian and Victorian architecture before eating in one of the quaint tea rooms. Saturday is the best day to visit if you like a spot of retail therapy, as there’s a fantastic open-air market with over 300 stalls, selling fabulous local produce and stunning arts and crafts. Keen walkers will enjoy the 5-mile route from here to Keyhaven, which passes through a nature reserve and offers wonderful opportunities for birdwatching. From Lymington you can also catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight.
