General Info

There’s two hundred years of history in this building. Originally built as the quarry master’s cottage in the early 19th century using stones from the nearby Sloes Hill, this became the village post office and shop until the 1980s. Today it serves as a delightful country getaway for many happy groups of friends and families who can enjoy both the convenience of its location on Symondsbury Estate near to the café and kitchen as well as its proximity to the sea. The location of the property is less than two miles away from the stunning Dorset coast - also a world heritage site due to its Jurassic coastline - with a multitude of gorgeous, unspoilt beaches to choose from. Surrounding Old Post Office Cottage is Symondsbury Estate with plenty of fun activities and miles upon miles of spectacular landscape to enjoy.
