This spacious cottage is ideally located in the countryside village of Mellor, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, and provides an excellent base to explore the Peak District, with walks direct from the door. The nearby village and station of Marple Bridge and small town of Marple offer a great selection of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions and a nearby golf course where you can enjoy a one day round of golf. Marple also has a supermarket and a cinema so there is plenty to do. Cycle trails and golf course are also within a few miles from the property. Horse riders are welcome to book a ride/hack in the local stables. Day trips to Alton towers or Chatsworth House are also easily accessible. Manchester is also not to far away by car. Opening the patio doors, guests can enjoy the countryside views towards the church and enjoy the horses in the field behind from the riding school. Across the road, next to the driveway is an enclosed garden with garden furniture, an ideal spot for al fresco dining. There is also an un fenced small seasonal stream which runs through the side of the garden. There is off road parking on the driveway for one car.
