Fishing is also available on the River Wye, by arrangement with the owner, and stabling for up to two horses is also available on request. For shopping and eating out, head into Kington (5 miles) or Hay-on-Wye (16 miles).

The bustling town of Kington is 5 miles away and has regular markets for picking up local produce for your dinner, as well as a fabulous collection of art galleries, boutiques, and cafes lining its historic streets. The town is the start of the long-distance Mortimer Trail and is also home to England’s highest 18-hole golf course. Further afield, enjoy day trips to the literary haven of Hay-on-Wye (16 miles) or the cathedral city of Hereford (25 miles).
