One-Off Feature
Bring together friends and family in this stunning holiday home in Mid Wales. The property sleeps up to 20 guests and has vast social spaces, both indoors and outside, and an impressive dining area that’s perfect for hosting dinner parties and special occasions. There are many intriguing national trails to explore in the area, including the Offa’s Dyke Path, the Glyndwr’s Way and the Severn Way, all of which take you through the breathtaking Mid Wales countryside. For shopping and eating out, journey into Newtown (3 miles) or Welshpool (12 miles).

Enter the spacious country retreat into the welcoming hall, where you’ll find ample space to store all your outdoor gear. The hall leads to five stylish bedrooms, all of which are located on the ground floor and benefit from en-suite facilities. A further shower room and handy utility room complete this floor. Heading upstairs, via the stairs or electric lift, discover the bright and airy lounge, with ample seating for everyone to spread out and relax, as well as a Smart TV, board games, and table football for your entertainment. On a summer’s evening, open the doors to the Juliet balcony to let a gentle breeze flow through the property. Come together for memorable mealtimes in the impressive kitchen/diner, which has everything you need for group catering and a huge, refectory-style table with benches to seat all 20 guests. Outside, the wrap-around garden features a sunny patio for al fresco entertaining with plenty of furniture and a charcoal BBQ. There’s also a generous lawn for playing outdoor games and an enclosed paddock that’s ideal for four-legged guests. You’re also welcome to explore the surrounding, 30-acre grounds and visit the resident farm animals.

Head into Newtown to explore the independent shops, museums, and galleries. Newtown has a good range of local eateries and, after a bite to eat, you can take a peaceful stroll along the River Severn, which meanders through the town. Alternatively, spend a relaxing afternoon in the Georgian market town of Welshpool, wandering along the towpath of the Montgomery Canal or riding on the heritage steam train. For horticulture enthusiasts, a visit to the fabulous Italian Renaissance garden at Powis Castle, 12.5 miles away, is a must.
