Inside the decor is simple and fresh with light tones throughout. Shrug off coats and boots in the hallway before heading through to the open-plan living area where whitewashed walls, wooden-panelled flooring and modern furnishings create a tranquil ambience.

It won’t be long before you’re relaxing on the huge sectional sofa in front of the fireplace. Skylights and floor-to-ceiling glass doors drench the space in uplifting light, and when the weather is good you can push open the balcony doors and let the outside in. The well-equipped kitchen overlooks the lounge so you can chat with your loved one while preparing a meal and then serve it at the intimate table for two.
