A farmhouse door leads to the rooming lounge where a pair of two-seater sofas surround an unusual barrel table. Put your feet up with the dogs lying on the floor and watch a film on the TV as the wood burner crackles away providing essential warmth. Head up to the first floor via the staircase in the kitchen and find a double bedroom with a feature fireplace and rural views, and a twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made into a king-size on request), ensuring flexible sleeping for families and couples. Both bedrooms share the bathroom which is also on this floor. Outside, there is a lovely enclosed garden with a lawn, a patio and picnic bench, and a small summerhouse.

You’ll have the best of both worlds staying at this cottage: a countryside feel from being on a working farm, yet you’ll only be a few miles from the coast (Broad Haven and Little Haven). If you need to head into a town to scratch your retail itch or you want to brush up on some local history, head to the castle town of Haverfordwest.
