One-Off Feature
Located on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, a stay at this large and luxurious holiday home offers adventure right on your doorstep, including days out on Wales’ biggest lake, Bala with sailing, canoeing and wild swimming amongst the activities on offer. Enjoying a large conservatory filled with garden views and a hot tub in the summer house, this property is a fantastic place for a holiday come rain or shine.
As you step into the hallway you’ll be directed towards the charming living room which features a beamed ceiling and an ornate fireplace. Soft sofas and armchairs ensure space for all of your guests to gather around by the wood burner, whilst the bright and airy conservatory provides an alternate area to socialise at the dining table, surrounded by natural beauty. The kitchen has been beautifully finished with a colour palette inspired by the countryside surroundings. Here you’ll be able to whip up a selection of snacks and meals and serve cosy breakfasts at the smaller dining table seating four. For after-dinner entertainment, pay a visit to the games room which is equipped with a pool table and a selection of board games. When you need some time to yourself, head off to the snug to sprawl out on the leather sofa with a good book, or venture to one of the six bedrooms with calming neutral decor. Two of the bedrooms and a bathroom complete the ground floor, offering a double bedroom with direct access out to the garden, and a twin which is ideal for children. Upstairs is a king-size bedroom boasting access to the balcony where you can sit and sip your morning coffee, alongside two further king-size rooms and a double. All of these bedrooms are paired with an en-suite for additional privacy, one of which has a delightful roll-top bathtub. Surrounding the property is an expanse of patio and lawn bordered by mature trees and shrubs to create a magical garden space. Here you could sit and dine alfresco on the table and chairs or play a selection of garden games on the lawn on a sunny day.
Snowdonia is a perfect location for an active getaway with an array of winding pathways through a mixture of terrains including the challenging Aran mountain range (12 miles), home to a total of fourteen summits over 600m in height. For a less challenging but equally as enchanting walk, head to Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park (22 miles) for a picnic beneath the tree canopies. For an adrenaline-inducing day out, head to Zip World (22 miles) to speed through the trees on a zip wire, or delve underground and bounce on the cavern trampolines for a completely unique experience.
