One-Off Feature
This cosy cottage, set close to the sandy beaches at Embleton Bay and Beadnell on the Northumberland coast has two bedrooms so would happily house a small family or small group of friends. Beautiful walks are possible from the front doorstep with a beautiful west-facing garden perfect for catching the afternoon sunshine, sunsets and even some star gazing.
The cottage is single-storey and has a very pretty frontage. You enter straight into the open-plan lounge and dining room which has a large inglenook fireplace. It makes for a very cosy place to relax after a busy day. The dining table can seat six should you have any guests to entertain at dinner, while the galley-style kitchen has everything you would need to prepare every meal - from breakfast to supper. A double bedroom is at the rear of the cottage while a twin is at the front with its own en-suite shower and WC. A family bathroom completes the accommodation inside. Outside, the garden has furniture where guests can sit down to enjoy a morning coffee or dine alfresco.
The nearby sandy beaches at Embleton Bay, Low Newton-by-the-sea and Beadnell Bay are all must dos. They’re the perfect place to head for picnics, rock pooling and watersports. The village of Embleton itself has plenty to offer too, including a popular pub. For times when you're not at the beach or relaxing in the property’s country garden, you could walk down the scenic coastal path to Craster 5 miles away for lunch and see the impressive ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.
