A second snug offers a TV/DVD player and a selection of toys and books for younger guests. There is also a handy utility/drying room for storing muddy coats and boots. You'll find a cloakroom, a walk-in wet room and two bedrooms on the ground floor – a twin with single beds, and the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, a reading nook on the landing leads to the remaining bedrooms and a separate WC. The first bedroom is arranged in a fun-filled dormitory style with four single beds, two of which can be converted into a double. Located 5 miles from the charming market town of Brecon, explore the local area on foot, by bike, or on horseback, and keep an eye out for resident red kites. The waterfalls at Nant Sere (3 miles) are perfect for a refreshing wild swim, or you can stay dry and enjoy a family day out at Cantref Adventure Farm, just a 1-mile drive away. Alternatively, strike out to tackle Pen-y-Fan (5.5 miles), the highest peak in South Wales and be rewarded by spectacular panoramic views from its summit.
