The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The beautiful River Coquet is directly in front of the house and the main village street, populated by shops, restaurants and pubs, is just 5 minutes on foot. The nearest beach is just a 15 minute walk, and if you venture further afield you will discover Alnwick Castle, the seaside village of Alnmouth, and the fishing port of Amble with its award-winning fish restaurants and independent boutiques.

Interior Details
The front entrance opens onto a stone flagged hallway which runs the length of the house, and from here you can access the dining room with its solid oak table and the drawing room with its wood burning stove, comfy sofas, reading area overlooking the river and collection of DVDs, books and music. The kitchen is light and airy with all the mod cons (a laundry/boot room is adjacent), and upstairs you will find three bedrooms - one en-suite king and two French-country style doubles/twins. There is a family bathroom on the ground floor.

Exterior Details
At the front of the house there is a small gravelled garden with a seat that overlooks the River Coquet. To the rear there is a private enclosed patio area and a lawned landscaped garden with seating and a summerhouse. There is a BBQ and a good selection of both indoor and outdoor toys for the children.

Conditions of Rental
Changeover day is Friday or Monday with arrival after 4pm and departure by 10am. A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A damage waiver is included in the holiday cost, which provides cover up to a nominal amount. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £20 each - pet treats and a dog sitting service are available. A luxury welcome hamper and White Company toiletries are provided.
