General Info

One of our collection of luxury holiday cottages, Mill Cottage is situated on the Cabalva Estate, a family-run sheep and beef farm within a beautiful tranquil setting - their pasture-fed Aberdeen Angus beef is sold to some of the UK's top restaurants. Guests are welcome to buy some of the beef and have a tour of the farm. The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The countryside around here is nothing short of breath-taking and there is much to explore. The fields around the house are full of wildlife, from sheep and hares to woodcock, hedgehogs, robins and red kites, or you could head down to famous Offa's Dyke and walk up into the hills or down to the river. The famous book town of Hay-on-Wye is just 3 miles away, and in the area you can also go cycling, riding, canoeing and fishing. And if you don’t want to self-cater there are lots of excellent places to eat and drink – The Bridge at Whitney on Wye (5 mins drive) or Tomatitos in Hay-on-Wye itself.

Exterior Details
Just outside the cottage is a secluded spot with Douglas Fir seats and table from where you can enjoy the river and the abundance of birds and wildlife that frequent it. There’s also a barbeque so you can cook al fresco when the weather is warm.
