One-Off Feature
Cedar Lodge is the perfect rural retreat just for two. With the kind of features that’ll make you fall in love all over again, this one-bedroom lodge combines a spectacular setting with a breathtaking interior design.
General Info
We reckon you’ll while away many an hour in that hot tub under the stars. Just imagine sipping on a glass of bubbly while you enjoy the peace and quiet of the resort’s woodland setting. The balcony area means you can dine outside in style while you unwind after a lazy day, perfect for those romantic meals while the sun sets behind the lake.
Step inside, and the log burner adds a romantic touch to those quiet evenings in. Pop your favourite playlist on via the ipod docking station and cosy up on that chic leather sofa. The open plan design of the kitchen and dining space means you needn’t be apart for a moment, and the doors from the living space to the decking mean you can let that gentle breeze drift in on a summer’s day.
When it’s time to call it a night, that super king size bed makes it all too easy to drift off after a long day walking the resort’s woodland – and the TV rises from the end so you don’t need to move an inch to enjoy your favourite films. And better still, you’ll find Jack and Jill marble sinks and a beautiful roll top bath waiting to welcome you in the en suite bathroom. You’ll find Cedar Lodge tucked in the six acres of woodland that make up South View Lodges. Set beside three sparkling fishing lakes, the resort’s all about escaping the hustle and bustle and enjoying the Devon countryside.
If you’re happy to stay close to your lodge (and let’s face it – who wouldn’t be?!), the area’s perfect for walks, bike rides and even horse riding. Or, for those days out, Exeter is just a few miles away from the resort. Home to the famous Exeter Cathedral, a bustling shopping scene and more restaurants than you can shake a breadstick at, Exeter’s great fun all year round.
* This lodge is suitable for wheelchair users and it has its own private fishing swim and patio area, the fishing swim does have steps to get to it, so even though the lodge is 100% wheel chair friendly, the fishing from this lodge isn’t.
