The cottages are equidistant between the seaside town of Blackpool and the historic city of Lancaster and the beautiful Trough of Bowland. A short drive away is the popular seaside destination of Blackpool with its Pleasure Beach, Zoo, Grand Theatre and Winter Gardens, there is something to cater to the whole family. Leisure facilities: guests are welcome to explore the enclosed shared grounds and relax in the wildlife area with seating and a wild flower meadow and adjoining paddock and also fish in the large wildlife pond stocked for course fishing. Private games room: with pool table, table football and traditional family games. Amenities: Bed linen, towels, electric, underfloor heating and Wi Fi included. Additional info: It is recommended guests bring their own rods and fishing equipment and guests will require a rod licence (can be purchased from post office or via environmental agency website). 2 dogs welcome. Location: pub and shop 2 miles. Lakeside Bistro is a short walk away. Peaceful, semi detached, rural retreat we do not take group bookings for parties. Private covered hot tub available to use up until 10.30pm. Please note we cannot guarantee the hot tub to have reached full temperature and be ready by 4pm on the arrival day.. 3 / 4 car parking spaces available. Electric vehicle charging available (Pay as you go). Please note there is a step on entry to the property and there are steps from the lounge to the kitchen area as well as stairs to the first floor.
