Libourne is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of southwest France with its prestigious vineyards and marvellous beaches. St Emilion (10 min.), Bordeaux (40 min.) and the glorious Atlantic coast (Cap Ferret, Arcachon) are all within easy reach. This recently renovated apartment enjoys a central location, close to the quays, restaurants and town square with weekly markets.
Libourne is a beautiful slice of south west France which is far less known to tourists than Bordeaux or Saint-Emilion, but just as charming! In Libourne you can escape the hoards of tourists who descend on Bordeaux and enjoy a stay in this riverside town situated at the meeting point of the Dordogne and the Isle rivers. The Libourne farmer’s market is one of the best and oldest in the Gironde. Head to the quayside for a riverside cruise down the Dordogne River, taking you to Chateau de Vayres, one of the most prestigious castles in the region. No holiday to Libourne is complete without a visit to one of the nearby ‘appellations’ - Fronsac is the nearest with its wine producing chateau - even without a car you can hire a bike to cycle the 3.5km from town. Libourne is oozing character, and is a wonderful place to discover Aquitaine culture and gastronomy.

Interior Details
The apartment in Libourne is on the ground floor (no stairs to climb after a day of exploring the local area!) and is 140m2 in size. It has a sitting room with TV and comfy seating and a separate dining area. There’s a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, oven and all the necessary crockery and utensils. There are two bedrooms, both with queen sized beds. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite shower and there is a spacious second shower room, a separate WC and a laundry area. Wifi throughout.
Exterior Details
There is a small private patio area with seating where you can enjoy a morning coffee, or your evening aperitif! There is no private parking but there is metered street parking outside, or you can park in the car parks at the Place Abel Surchamp (€11.50/24 hours, 1 minute on foot) or at Libourne train station (10 minutes on foot).
Conditions of Rental
Deposit payable on booking. Check in after 4pm, check in from 11am. Self check in with lockbox. The apartment is not suitable for children and infants. No smoking, no pets and no parties please.
