One-Off Feature

Villa Týmarhane is a beautiful Villa especially in Spring Time when wild flowers are in abundance, it boasts a lovely elevated position in the mountains above Incesu with spectacular uninterrupted views to the mountains and down to the Mediterranean Sea. Complete with a glorious horizon infinity pool and terraced gardens, this is the perfect spot for some holiday relaxation.

General Info

The land behind the villa is forestry land and is teeming with breathtaking walks towards both Ilgaz and Lapta. The villa is a five minute drive from the sea, and a 15 minute drive from the main town of Kyrenia.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The villa sits just above the village of Alsancak, a typical Cypriot village with plenty of small shops and restaurants. It is a six minute drive to the nearest beaches and about a 15 minute drive into the picturesque harbour town of Kyrenia (Girne) with its massive castle, bustling shops and harbour-side restaurants. Details of local beaches and recommended places to visit can be found in the information book in the villa. North Cyprus is worth visiting at almost any time of year. During July and August rain is almost unheard of and it can be very hot. Spring erupts in a blaze of flowers in mid-February and it is still possible to sunbathe up to the end of November. For history lovers, there is plenty to see from magical castles and Roman mosaics, to monasteries and churches. There are plenty of beaches ranging from the sophisticated to the wild and deserted.

They plan to serve drinks & snacks during the summer months. It’s about 10 minutes walk from the villa. The villa is ideally situated for exploring the hills around Lapta/Kyrenia. This is especially wonderful in spring when the flowers of Cyprus erupt into life. So why not use the villa as a base to explore the Fauna and Flora of Cyprus during the early season of April and May. When the weather is wonderful to wander and explore and discover the orchids a stones throw away from the villa.Or use the villa with its ample living area and bedrooms to host a family Easter away from it all! Easter is not as hot as August but the weather is warmer than the UK and walks and drives into the countryside around the villa are more pleasant. Try an early break during April/May and use the villa as a base to explore the countryside around the villa. You can walk into the hills following the route marked on the trees and rocks! Or use the walks folder provided in the villa to explore wider a field. At this time Cyprus comes alive with flowers, see how many orchids you can spot or how many of the flowers in the folder in the villa you can find.
