Outdoor swimming pool, games barn, snooker room and a grand piano, 20 mins drive from the beach - and it even has its own wedding license too. Perfect for large family gatherings, weddings and celebrations.
The owners have been renovating this lovely house and its surrounding grounds and buildings for the last 34 years, and in that time it has grown into a very special destination, whether you`re here for a wedding, a party or simply an unforgettable retreat with friends and family. The property, which can sleep up to 32 in total, is comprised of three main buildings - the rectory itself (7 bedrooms / sleeps 16), the coach house(5 bedrooms / sleeps 14) and the two bedroom pool house (2 bedrooms / sleeps 4, available May - Sep). The former village hall is now used for wedding ceremonies, plays, yoga classes and concerts. Versatile, historic and full of character, the Old Rectory has been restored with great love and care and the owners want to share it with people who will appreciate its unique atmosphere as much as they do.
The Old Rectory is just outside charming village of Pyworthy with a pub serving good local produce. The Devon/Cornwall coast is 8 miles away, the nearest resort is Bude, in Cornwall. The beaches of North Devon and Cornwall are very close. for great surfing, swimming and walking.
