Stazzo Villa is part of an ancient white-washed Sardinian farmhouse, shaded by olive, eucalyptus and pine trees, with views over La Maddalena Archipelago National Park.
The old farmhouse is made up of two self-catering cottages in almost original condition, and has a charming rustic style. Quiet, rural and peaceful, the villa is within easy walking distance of beautiful beaches, and is just a 2 mile drive to the town of La Maddalena where everything you might need is available. Dine on the terrace, snooze under the trees, and soak up the sunshine and beautiful views over the Mediterranean.
The Maddalena archipelago lies in the Straits of Bonifacio, between Sardinia and Corsica. La Maddalena, the only inhabited island, is home to the town of the same name. It is a busy place with lots of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes in the piazzas and surrounding streets, not to mention a lively nightlife in the summer months. Maddalena is known for its beaches, and there are beautiful coves and bays scattered around the dozens of islets that make up the archipelago, and boat tours are what places like this do best. So make the most of your water-locked surroundings and hire one to take you around the various islands. But if you’d prefer to stay on dry land, then you can hire bikes and mopeds, or you could explore the island of Caprera on horseback.
Getting There:
The only way to get to La Maddalena is via a car-ferry from Palau. The journey only takes 20 minutes and the ferry runs hourly all day and night. Alghero airport is 1.5 hours from Palau and Olbia airport is just 40 minutes. Bus services are available between Palau and Olbia. Car hire is strongly advised, and is available at both Alghero and Olbia.

Interior Details
The villa has two double bedrooms and one single, and the kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker and a fridge with freezer so self-catering is easy. All linen, including beach towels, is provided - bed linen is changed weekly and fresh towels are provided when required.
Exterior Details
The villa has a private garden with a BBQ and plenty of room for lounging in the sun, and there is a terrace where you can dine al fresco and enjoy the sea views.
