This beautifully renovated 17th century barn conversion with a private hot tub in the pretty Cotswolds village of Langford is an excellent choice for a get together with family and friends. It has a luxurious and contemporary interior, can sleep up to 11 guests, and is just a stone’s throw from Burford, known as the Gateway to the Cotswolds.
The Cotswold stone barn is Grade II listed and is set in a conservation area on the Oxfordshire / Gloucestershire border. It is close to the historic towns of Lechlade, Bampton and Burford, and not far from Cirencester, Oxford, Cheltenham and Witney. The property boasts many period features including exposed wooden beams, flagstone flooring, stone mullion windows, exposed stone alcoves and a lovely Cotswold stone fireplace with a woodburning stove in the living room.
The village of Langford is in an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), and there are masses of excellent walking routes straight from the door. The village is home to the Bell Inn, a very well thought of gastro pub, and the village of Filkins is just a mile away with its small local shop, post office, open air swimming pool, and another excellent pub. There are lots of things to do in the vicinity including the Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford Garden Centre, Kelmscott Manor, Crocodiles of the World, Upton Smokery and the Cotswold Water Park.

Interior Details:
The barn has four bedrooms and comfortably sleeps eight, with an additional three single beds in three of the bedrooms allowing you to accommodate up to 11 in total. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath / shower and one with a large walk in shower. Three of the four bedrooms have super king beds, and the fourth is a king. The living room has stone mullioned windows looking out to gardens, comfortable seating, a woodburner, TV with Netflix, Amazon and other app channels, and a mix of adult and children’s games and books. There’s a second reception room, the Snug, with french doors leading out to the garden, another TV, and table football. The kitchen / diner has an electric hob and oven, microwave and dishwasher, and is fully equipped with all you need. There’s seating for up to 11 around the dining table. Also on the ground floor is a downstairs loo and a large utility room (with door to the garden) with American fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is superfast wifi throughout.
Exterior Details:
The house has a south westerly facing enclosed walled garden. The patio has a large table, chairs and BBQ and there’s a private hot tub. Parking on the lane outside the front door and garden gate.
Conditions:
50% deposit due on booking with balance due 45 days before arrival. A pre-authorization of £250 is due 1 days before arrival and released 7 days after departure. Bookings of more than 8 guests will incur an additional fee of £50 per person per night. There is also a £50 per pet per stay fee. Check in from 4pm. Check out by 10am.
