Affectionately called ‘le chateau’ by locals, Domaine du Paron sits within 15 hectares of private land and reigns supreme over Lake Annecy and the Alps. The house is enormous, with no fewer than fourteen bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and it has absolutely everything you could need for a relaxing and luxurious holiday. Conveniently located yet suitably secluded, this is a wonderful base in France for families and friends, whether you just want to lie around the pool or you’d prefer to get out and explore the activities and attractions of the area.
The beauty of this part of the world is that it has something to offer in every season. During the summer you can play golf, explore by bike, go sailing on the lake or set off on foot down one of the many mountain trails. You could even try your hand at canyoning, paragliding or wakeboarding. During the winter the small ski slope of Montmin is literally on your doorstep but there are larger resorts just a short drive away - La Clusaz and Grand Bornand within 30 minutes and Chamonix, Val d’Isere and the 3 Valleys within 1.5 hours. The nearby town of Annecy is a vibrant and cosmopolitan place full of antiques shops, Haute Savoy plays host to plenty of gastronomic choices and there are lots of events to enjoy in the area year round.
Getting There:
The chalet is just 15km from the centre of Annecy and is also not far from the airports in Annecy (20 minutes), Geneva (40 minutes) and Lyon and Grenoble (90 minutes). There is a direct TGV service from Paris to Annecy.

Interior Details
Built in the 1920s, the house still retains much of its original charm and character. The exterior is grand, the furniture elegant and the ambience sophisticated, but it is also warm, welcoming and intimate – a real family home. The fourteen bedrooms have been designed with impeccable taste, the ground floor offers a study, a lounge, a breakfast room and a dining room, and in the attic you will find a children’s play room. Altogether there is one master en-suite, four double en-suites, two doubles, two twins and five single rooms.

The main house is complemented by the pool house which has a wood burning oven and BBQ, a heated infinity pool, a hot tub, a sauna and a wet room.
Further Details
Bespoke packages like sporting breaks and corporate team building can be arranged and Domaine du Paron is also ideal for events like weddings and family celebrations. The owners can arrange everything from a private chef to a concierge service and in-house massages and therapies.
