Finca Azahar nestles in the Valle De Azahar (Valley of Blossom), surrounded by orange, lemon and olive groves with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the pretty village of Coín in the distance. The gardens are home to an array of native Mediterranean flowering shrubs and plants and you can take in the views as you relax by your very own private pool or retreat to the shade of a leafy tree by the fish pond. The yurt is the perfect romantic hideaway where you can relax and get away from the pressures of everyday living, while still enjoying the luxury of comfortable furnishings, a hot shower and all the mod cons. The village of Coín is a typical Spanish whitewashed village - set in the heart of the Andalucian countryside yet only 20 minutes from the beaches of the Costa Del Sol and the towns of Marbella, Puerto Banus and Malaga. Coín is just a few minutes from the Finca, and it is a charming place to enjoy a morning coffee or a cold afternoon beer, or to savour some traditional tapas in one of the many bars and restaurants. Activities in the immediate area include horse riding, walking, and shopping in local markets, and the Finca is also just a 10 minute walk from the Rio Grande, one of the largest and most famous rivers in the area and home to many species of bird and wildlife. Interior Details
The yurt is built in the traditional Mongolian style, made of wood with a central crown that has beams spreading out to a lattice wall. A roomy 6 metres wide, it contains a double bed and a selection of rustic furniture as well as a TV, a DVD player and WiFi. The separate bespoke shower room has a toilet and hot water, and the covered summer kitchen contains all the pots, pans, crockery and utensils that you will need. Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided. The yurt is self-catering, but we can provide breakfast, lunch, sandwiches/baguettes for days out and evening meals by request. Exterior Details
The yurt is set on a raised handmade wooden floor and it sits in a secluded terrace amongst the olive trees. Next to the kitchen is a pretty little BBQ area shaded by eucalyptus trees, and just a few paces through a tall pine hedged archway is your own private pool.
Conditions of Rental
Strictly no smoking inside the yurt and ashtrays must be used outside. The door to the yurt has a lock and key for added peace of mind during your days out. Discounts for stays longer than 1 week may be available on request. Short stays will receive a complimentary bottle of wine or cava and weekly stays will receive a complimentary basic welcome pack. **Out of season bookings taken by request.** The owners have lived here for thirty years and live on a seperate area of the Finca and can help with any advice you may need regarding walks, places to visit and general knowledge of the area. They are enthusiastic gardeners and lovers of nature, they grow their own vegetables and herbs in the greenhouse and they have two friendly dogs, a cat, and chickens for free range eggs.
