On a private estate in an untouched corner of Cumbria you will discover the Hidden River House, a large and luxurious holiday home with gorgeous interiors, two private hot tubs and stunning views of the valley below. This is a proper country retreat.

General Info

Built in the late 17th century, the house is steeped in history. Previously used as an army barracks, a dwelling for Old Mill workers and a farmhouse, it has now been beautifully refurbished to provide comfortable, top quality accommodation for up to 20 people. Inside there are all the fixtures, fittings and furnishings you could need for a relaxed and stress-free stay. Outside you can lounge in the hot tub and dine at the on-site café. And nearby there are opportunities galore for outdoor pursuits, with everything from walking to zip wiring on offer. If you’re looking for a rural sanctuary for your next get together then the Hidden River House will not disappoint.
