One-Off Feature

Spacious individually-designed bedrooms, chic contemporary furnishings, sumptuous bathrooms, cosy rooms to lounge around in, plentiful local watering holes and eateries, and the stunning Lake Windermere on your doorstep. This is boutique accommodation in a sophisticated period house that leaves nothing to be desired, in the heart of the wonderful Lake District.

General Info

If you're looking for a stylish base from which to explore the beautiful Lake District, a place with elegant uncluttered accommodation, attentive hosts, all the mod cons and abundant thoughtful little extras to make your stay unique and memorable, The Boundary is the perfect choice. The house's owner, a former journalist, is a cricket nut and you'd be hard pressed not to notice this theme throughout the house.  The bedrooms are named after famous cricketers of old, and in one case, a well known cricket writer.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

You are staying in the globally renowned Lake District, with walking, climbing and breathtaking views to suit everyone from urban softies to hardcore survivalists. And as we are in a village setting, there are shops to buy your must have kit and a huge choice of places to refresh yourself afterwards. There are also historic houses and gardens plus three Michelin-starred restaurants within 20 minutes' drive.
